From the time you arrive, you are made to feel welcome, Jeannie Kong is the loveliest person, she is full of love and gratitude. The food is the best you will find in any Chinese Restaurant, I have been to a lot and this one is the one I always recommend, the prices are very good, the restaurant has a very warm and friendly vibe, it's always been the same, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Such an institution. Original family and all generations working together. Really lovely to see the genuine atmosphere. As for the food it is 100%authentic Australian/Chinese food. Yummy!! Large venue no frills. Comfortable and quick.

I loved my visit to The House of Khong - an inter-generational family business. Everyone, including the other guests, were so friendly. The food was hot, generous and delicious. Highly recommended to include as a genuine Bendigo experience.

Tonight I had the best steak and black bean sauce meal ive had in years. I also had a large special fried rice. The steak and b/bean had heaps of meat in it and it was so tender. The fried rice was excellent. Its been years since ive enjoyed good Chinese food especially take away. And i found the prices were good to. If you want value for money and excellent food i highly recommend the house of kong. Thanks guys i really enjoyed that food 👍🏻
